After the recent big Wreck the Halls December update, the Lost Ark team has a new roadmap to shed some light on what to expect in the first few months of 2023.

This is the first part of the roadmap, so we should expect updates coming in the new year, but we'll start off with The Witcher event in January. Now there's a few more details about what we can expect from the event:

“A beautiful island’s festivities have been interrupted by a mystifying vortex. Uncovering the mysteries will lead to encounters with iconic characters from The Witcher on an all-new island and in new event quests!”

Also in January, we can expect some quality of life updates, including improvements to guilt, guilt PVP, and more are releasing at the same time as The Witcher collaboration.

In February, Lost Ark will celebrate the first anniversary of its Western launch. Naturally, there are events on the way, as well as new content, including a brand new continent, Rowen. You’ll need item level 1445 to start the world quest there.  “Strange tensions linger between the factions, and the barbaric nomads assault those who have dared to set foot on their lands,” reads the description.

One of the features is that if you venture there, you'll have to pick a side in the conflict. This means you'll enter PVP mode against the opposing faction, and there will be a war in this zone that will continue on.

March brings the next phase, with the introduction of the Tulubik Battlefield. This battlefield brings a new PVP mode, a 96-player RvR option. With 48 players on each side, bases to capture, objectives on the field, as well as players to fight, there’s a new chapter in Lost Ark PvP.

In April, we can expect the Artist advanced class, a new support specialist with illusion powers.  In fact, the Artist is the first Specialist, a new class type in Lost Ark. Through her abilities and careful strategy, she can both buff and heal teammates. She will have some changes to skins to reflect Western design norms, the team advises, like shorts under her very short skirts. They promise to “preserve the original spirit of the skins when applying these changes to ensure players will have a variety of compelling customization options for this uniquely versatile class”.

Also coming? Brelshaza Hard Mode (if you still need additional challenge after the original), and a new Guardian Raid, the destructive and furious gorilla-like Hanumatan.
