Loki Gets Knocked Down a Peg & Attuma Gets a Glow Up in Marvel Snap's Latest Balance Patch

Second Dinner’s latest Marvel Snap balance patch makes some major tweaks to some of the game’s most played and underplayed cards, with the aim of shaking up the meta a bit.

Loki got another look from Second Dinner as his big “nerf” last month ended up anything but. Loki has been incredibly strong since he was changed and now Second Dinner is back with a more straightforward nerf, keeping his effect but reducing him from a 3/5 to a 2/2.

Some of the more interesting changes in the update were those made to Cannonball, Destroyer, and Attuma.

Cannonball fell out of favor with his nerf from a 5/8 to a 5/7 a little while back, but Second Dinner has now reverted this change, and so far he’s already popped back up in a number of high performing decks.

Destroyer’s power was reduced from 16 to 14, but now his effect only destroys cards in other locations. This hasn’t proven to have had a significantly positive effect so far, but we’ll see how it plays out.

Attuma, however, has gotten a whole glow up. He’s still a 4/10 but now he destroys your lowest power card at his location each turn (instead of destroying himself if any other cards are present). This has allowed him to add additional functionality to destroy decks and even play a role in combatting clog decks.
