The Wurm Online team has sent word that the Linux version of the game is now available via the Steam gaming platform. In addition, Wurm Online is doing very well since its Steam launch and trends in the top 25 downloaded titles and is sporting an impressive 82% approval rating by Steam reviewers.
Code Club AB CEO Rolf Jansson has written:
I'm extremely proud of the launch of Wurm Unlimited, and I think is pretty amazing given that people actually run their own MMO engine. This can feel slightly overwhelming with some technical challenges but we've made it as straight forward as possible: basically you click two buttons then locate your server it in the LAN tab and connect.
As usual, we're continuing development of both the MMO and Unlimited versions, currently looking into things such as improved client performance and experimenting with running water for rivers as well as sitting (initially on furniture).
