Point Release 11 is slowly on the way for Legends of Aria, with the team providing a closer look at the Outlands in their latest development update.

Specifically, the update focuses on design and world building. To that end, the goals of the team for the outlands was to provide the players with a vibrant colorful environment which would drive storytelling. Every location is meant to have some sort of history behind it. The post shows off the Necrothium mines specifically.

Unique new quest lines will provide players access to heirlooms. Heirlooms will effectively let you increase your power for specific skills. For example, here’s an non-exhaustive list of the heirloom skills that will become available:

  • Healing
  • Martial Prowess
  • Magery
  • Crafting

  • Carpentry
  • Fabrication
  • Gathering

  • Lumberjacking
  • Fishing

  • Taming
  • Barding

Heirlooms will have various properties, durability, leveling, and restrictions. As for what’s next for the Outlands, the team is hoping this will become one of the most immersive environments they’ve created for Legends of Aria. As for when you’ll be able to check out the Outlands, November is the target.
