The Overwatch site has been updated with the great news that the Game Browser function is now live in game. With the new feature, players will be able to create their own games, set the rule parameters, customize hero abilities (movement speed, health, damage, etc.) and publicize it to others within their region.
In addition, players can choose to make games public, invite only, friends only, etc. Others can run through the list to find the game with the rules they wish by using keywords to search, apply filters based on pre-set parameters and much more.
The new functionality is available for PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4. You can read more of the details on the Overwatch site.
In other news, the browser came along with a large patch that includes the new Capture the Flag mode, updates to several heroes, though most notably Bastion & Roadhog, as well as some map balance changes. Check out the full update notes here.
