Issue #17 of the Star Wars Galaxies: Legends Community Transmission is out now and brings the community “up to lightspeed” with what’s going on in SWG:L.
After spending some time looking back on the previously deployed City Update 2.0 and Ewok Festival of Love 2024 event, the team spent some time outlining what’s ahead for SWG:L.
Three events are on the horizon: Empire Day 2024, Galactic Moon Festival 2024, and Life Day 2024. The team promises fireworks between Rebel and Imperial players during Empire Day. Later on, the Galactic Moon Festival will serve as the game’s Halloween festivities. And finally, Life Day, a staple celebration from even the SWG official live service, will return once again this year to kick off the winter holiday festivities.
In terms of content, the team has plans to release Deep Space Comms in the future, offering players new wearables and items to customize their ships. Jedi Themepark Part 2 is still in development, with plans for release later this year. And lastly, the team is feeling optimistic about releasing two new World Bosses into the game by end of the year.
