The Lord of the Rings Online has gotten its latest beta update that opens up Bullroarer beta #4 to test out content from update 32. While the Legendary Item Reward Track has been tentatively pushed to the next build for now, there’s housing to test out this week.
The databases have been wiped so you'll have to make a new character or copy a character over. Available in this beta update is the opening of the neighborhood and housing for the Dwarves of Erebor. This is the highlight of this beta update with 12 base premium houses, one special base premium house, six Deluxe houses along with one Premium Kinship house. Town services and social spaces are also available to allow you to enjoy the new additions and create something that suits you. The new neighborhood and Erebor housing also include new exterior music and dayfile hook types for extra customization. Maybe you want to dive into a pile of gold coins you can swim in? Well this may be your chance. This will allow players to test all of the new housing, but the previously-announced private yards feature will be included in a future update and isn't available at this time.
Other changes in the beta #4 update include some quality of life changes like making Fate of Gundabad's new class, the Brawler's Belt Buckle icons consistent across the crafting tiers and making Class, Race, and Virtue trait slots automatically unlock when a character simply reaches the required level. This is true for all subscription levels, including free players, so this simplifies the experience for many.
There’s also an update for the The Hiddenhoard of Abnankâra instance. At this time, only the tier 1 boss encounter is consistently available to test and the Discovery Deed for the encounter is bypassed. Yet you can begin to test this one out, knowing that there’s still much work to be done in subsequent beta builds.
