Patch 2.11 for CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 went live earlier this week and brings with it a number of fixes and balance tweaks.
The patch isn’t anywhere as significant as Update 2.1, which surprised fans late last year with the introduction a long awaited Metro system, romantic hangouts previously only available via mods, and a number of new vehicles, but it does address some annoying issues and includes a fun new feature.
The patch includes fixes for improperly working melee finishers, glitchy dashes while using Classic controls, the inability to upgrade items to Tier 5++ on Xbox, and more. There are some balance changes as well, including a new 450 cap to Cyberware Capacity. Cyberware exceeding the new cap will be removed.
One interesting addition in the update is the new CrystalCoat feature, which allows players to change the color of vehicle paint. This is currently only available for Rayfield vehicles “because this technology was developed exclusively by Rayfield” but here’s hoping CDPR expands this functionality out to other vehicles as well in the future.
Update 2.11 is available now for Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
