If you're a person who loves a good spire, then you've gotta be pumped for the latest patch in Last Oasis. Donkey Crew has unveiled the new Kali Spires map which marks a major milestone in its current testing phase.
With a week left in testing, the Donkey Crew team has started a new phase of development where the Kali Spires will introduce dynamic environmental challenges for players throughout the map. In additionand the long-awaited appearance of Gogo, a large mountainous crawling creature is live on official servers. The team also implemented Artisan Soil Augers to attach to a Walker so you can gather soil-based resources and enhance strategic walker gameplay.
The patch itself has also seen a wide range of additional changes such as enhancements to overall game balance. Notably, walker durability has significantly increased, with walker hull and leg HP boosted by approximately 2.5 times. The introduction of an erupting Volcano point-of-interest has be created to enhance resource gathering of lava or obsidian rewards.
These are just some of the many changes the team has put in place, and they're asking for tons of player feedback about the changes during the testing phases. Since Last Oasis began their new testing push, they've seen a marked increase in peak players alongside a decidedly positive player review score, signalling that the new changes have been good for player retention. Hopefully the team will see more growth over the rest of the year.
