Last Oasis, a nomadic survival MMO game, was originally slated to hit early access in September. However, developer Donkey Crew, have announced that their upcoming release will be delayed till October.
Via a blog post on Steam, as well as a new YouTube video, the developers detailed the reasons as to why the delay is happening. According to the devs, taking both their observations and that of their beta testers in to account, the team wanted to ensure the release was a "stable, performant and fun experience."
"One of our main goals is to make sure everyone can experience a stable, performant and fun experience at release. So we wanted to polish the game a bit more, tweak the balance, improve some optimization, and in general make the launch as perfect as it can be. We've also been working hard to ensure the game supports as many languages as possible at launch."
In the mean time, you can check out a new video from Last Oasis showing off their offerings from Gamescom last week.
