The monthly Last Epoch dev blog, Eterra Monthly, has dropped on the game’s official forums with some change previews and more.

The blog opens up by remarking that feedback and ideas from players is deeply welcome and is even a part of the process of forging the game’s changes, stating that “an incredibly long list of this feedback is already in the works and being morphed from idea to reality.” The ones listed are the ability to compare potential off-hand item pickups to the ones already equipped, improvements for Evade, Boss Ward usage between certain enemies, and Dungeon Key inventory changes.

Another section of preview briefly goes over some upcoming changes as well—mainly that Volatile Reversal from the Void Knight toolkit is getting an overhaul. It’s being changed into a combo that throws the player forward to a targeted location and slings the player back with a recast, with each landing dealing a “devastating attack.” The mana cost and cooldown timer will be dropped as well so it can be more frequently used as a primary source of damage.

Also part of the blog are a few fun community and developer tidbits. There’s an interview with the Senior Technical Environment Artist, a pie recipe, as well as some new Twitch emotes and an overview of teases from Eleventh Hour Games’s Mike. Plus, a community build for Bladedancer is highlighted, focusing on a Crit-focused build where “you’ll be literally dancing between skills to maximize its potential.”

The post also mentions that the date reveal for Season 2 is “still in discussion” but “should be on its way very soon, bringing “some pretty substantial improvements to Last Epoch.”

The full Eterra Monthly blog with all of the nitty-gritty details is on the Last Epoch forum.
