Black Desert Mobile will finally get the Land Of The Morning Light expansion on September 26th. Along with the update, there will be a brand new season and Woosa Awakening.
In Land of the Morning Light, there will be new gameplay options, new zones, and of course, new gear to get your hands on. The sweeping new zones and landscapes are inspired by real Korean history in the Joseon period, as well as 15 real world locations the Pearl Abyss team traveled to in order to use as inspiration. The quests that are included in the new content are also culturally-inspired.
The quests in the expansion are inspired by Korean folklore and fables. The storyline is designed to immerse you in mythical possibilities, as you’ll meet characters from folktales. This also extends to the brand new bosses added with the content.
There are four bosses in the mobile expansion: Bari, the Mudang Wraith, Gumiho, the nine-tailed fox, the Golden Pig King, and the blue monster Songakshi. The new bosses in Land of the Morning Light come with the new Black Shrine mode, which lets you challenge bosses you’ve already defeated on a new difficulty level. This mode lets you set the Calamity Level of your choosing once you’ve defeated a new boss. The expansion’s release on PC and console featured more bosses, so it wouldn’t be surprising if some more eventually made their way onto the mobile version, but that’s to be seen.
Woosa Awakening (Choryeong) is finally making her way over to Black Desert Mobile with the new expansion. She uses her calligraphy brush to gracefully summon the souls of the dead to attack enemies and makes use of flowers of death in her strategic Do combat. With the ability to unleash both long and short-range attacks, and to heavily damage and confuse enemies, Woosa Awakening will be a powerful addition.
