Fresh off the announcement that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has gone gold and will launch a week earlier than expected, Warhorse Studios has followed up with the game’s story trailer.
We meet Henry, a conflicted young man out for revenge after the murder of his parents, And this is just the start of the trailer. “Fortune favors the brave”, a character says early in the trailer, yet we’ll see just how you’ll play the game. We see Henry is conflicted due to an early sequence or his father tells him that he can't change what's already happened. Henry's story is set against a medieval world full of danger, political intrigue, old feuds, and lots of decisions to make.
Ultimately, a lot of things bigger in the world around you will begin to unfold, including political conspiracies, potential takeovers, feuds, secrets, and violent conflict. Henry will have choices, but those choices will also play out in the story and have consequences.
"Henry of Skalitz seeks revenge for his murdered family. Now a trusted member of the rightful king’s allies, Henry is sent to escort Sir Hans Capon on a diplomatic mission. After they are ambushed and nearly killed, the two young men embark on a series of perilous adventures, putting their skills, character and friendship to the ultimate test."
The team is letting you figure out how you want to handle things, but given everything else happening in this trailer, including things we just get a brief peek at, there's a lot they have planned. Ultimately, there’s much to learn as you make your way through this brutal and sometimes chaotic and violent world.
They've also revealed the full PC specs.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be out on February 4, 2025.
