Eventually, the RuneScape team plans to raise the level caps of all skills. After Woodcutting, Fletching, Mining, Runecrafting, and Smithing, now it’s your turn to weigh in on the future of Crafting.
There’s a new Right Click Examine (RCE) entry detailing much of what the team is working on for the anticipated release of 110 Crafting in June. Right now you use Crafting to create magic and ranged armor, jewelry, and urns, but the team feels like the skill has been in the backdrop and they want to make things more interesting and make it more viable as a pursuit.
Among the proposals are a new armor crafting method for a new Magic Armor set, and a new set of level 100 Magic Masterwork armor. They're also planning to introduce new Exquisite Urns and a new set of platinum jewelry, including a completely new to RuneScape set. This update for crafting will affect magic armor first, but ranged armor is on the list for the future, particularly when they do 110 Hunter.
