It's Time for the Square Enix E3 2019 Presentation - Final Fantasy VIII & MARVEL Avengers!

It's the final evening presentation of this year's E3 with Square Enix taking the stage for the next hour or so. We've got all the trailers and announcements from today's presentation and will be updating the article throughout.Refresh the page often!

Final Fantasy VII

There will be two disks worth of content for FFVII. Gameplay is strategic command and realtime combat. It's more than just "hacking and slacking". ATB attacks allow players to take actions from the command menu as the fight slows to allow for strategic fights. Look for iconic familiar faces. Switching between characters is a single button press. They will fight when not controlled by the player but the player chooses when to use the ATV attacks when each character's is full.

There are playable demo kiosks at the Square Enix booths at E3.

It is a dark, modern shooter with a strong story. It can be played coop or solo. Powerful gunplay, awesome weaponry in a hostile new world.

MARVEL Avengers

Cinematic storytelling in an epic original story. Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, & Iron Man will all be part of the story. The plan is for multiple years of support delivered in regular updates. Up to 4 players can game online together and customize a growing roster of heroes. Every new hero and region will be "delivered with no additional cost". No loot boxes or P2W scenarios.

E3 attendees can check out a gameplay demo at the Square Enix booth. The game is coming to PS4, XB1, Stadia and PC. PS4 players will get early beta access and "unique benefits" that will be announced later.
