If a recent listing by Microsoft is to be believed, Far Cry 6 is set to release on May 25, 2021.
As Forbes points out, the listing on the Microsoft Store was probably premature. In addition to the potential release date, the file size was also leaked with the game expected to weigh in around 50 GB on Xbox.
At this point, we don’t know for which Xbox console that applies whether that’s the Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S. This also doesn’t provide an indicator into the file size on Sony’s own PS4 and PS5, in addition to PC.
If you’re not aware at this point, Far Cry 6 will take place in Yara, a more tropical country, where Giancarlo Esposito stars as the big villain. You can catch the world premiere trailer below:
