Paradox Interactive along with Triumph Studios announced the latest expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall, dubbed Invasions.
Invasions is set to launch on May 26 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. According to the accompanying press release, Invasions adds a load of new features to the game, primarily the first all new playable faction introduced into the mix, the Shakarn. The Sharkarn are described as a race of brutal lizardmen conquerors who are also masters of deception. Additionally, there are brand new campaign missions to accompany this new race focusing on their invasion of the galaxy.
Gameplay features include Voidbringer Invasions, World Events, a new game mode, and a new NPC faction, the Therians, who are warriors that have fused their DNA with animals to become even more ferocious fighters.
