Inferno Jacket Returns in FFXIV's Pre-7.2 Moogle Treasure Trove

With the impending end of Final Fantasy 14’s current patch comes the return of the Moogle Treasure Trove, running from February 26 until Patch 7.2 drops. The item-grinding event is a way to entice players into running often-underutilized old content as well as explore content outside of the usual Roulettes fare for items that are often hard to get.

Each Moogle Treasure Trove tends to have one new item, and this one’s no exception. This time, the new item is a modest but cute Paissa earring, which is, well, an earring of a Paissa.

For those who didn’t get it a few years ago, the Inferno Jacket makes its return. A modern “bomber jacket” style with a cool “embroidering” of the primal Ifrit, this jacket made its original appearance in the fall 2021 Treasure Trove, just before the release of Endwalker. It will thankfully only cost 50 Irregular Tomestones this time, as opposed to the 100 Tomestone grind last time.

There are also some similarly infamous items on the list, including the Magicked Bed (that’s extremely expensive on the Marketboard), the Shadow Gwiber from Shadowbringers, an Ancient One minion, and the Winsome Wallflower emote that unlocks the leaning-against-the-wall emote common in roleplaying spaces. Plus, you can score Endwalker raid boss Athena’s hairstyle in the Form and Function hairstyle.

This Treasure Trove also sees the return of the Objectives system, with Standard, Weekly, Minimog, and Ultimog Objectives. However, they haven’t shared which duties are actually going to be in the objectives, though they’ve hinted at Fishing, several interval-of-10 dungeons, some old Alliance raids, and more.

As this runs through the end of the current patch, we don’t have an exact timeline on when this ends, though we’re pretty sure it’s until late March. In the meantime, we know a bit of what’s coming in the next patch thanks to a Live Letter

All of the details, including the full earnable item list, are up on FFXIV’s official website
