Erenshor is the work of a solo developer, Brian “Burgee”, and with the help of dedicated testers and the input from the community, the project is growing significantly. the demo that has been accessible for a while and has gotten intermittent updates is getting another update with features that are shown in a new video with the winter update details.
So what can we expect for Early Access? There will be four classes, more than 100 hours of gameplay with content for levels 1 to 35, Including more than 50 story-driven quests and more than 30 zones and dungeons. they're planning for over 800 items to find and equip, as well as a series of rare and legendary items. As you get out there into these zones and dungeons, you can look forward to more than 120 monster variants, hundreds of NPCs with custom dialogue. To add an MMORPG flavor to the single-player game, there will be 100 SimPlayers to share the game world and encounter. Simulated players will progress on their own but they're designed to never outlevel you, so you can rely on them for dungeon runs, bosses, and even to join guilds. We can also expect features like an auction house and trading, along with crafting, mining, and fishing with these simulated players.
Brian, Erenshor’s developer, says that Early Access is a next phase and just the beginning for where things can go. In the announcement, features like seasonal content, achievements, epic raid loot, new world content, and even a new custom soundtrack are planned for during Early Access.
