Inadvertent Holiday Party Pic May Have Revealed Anthem VR Mode*

BioWare's Jay Watamaniuk may have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag by posting a company holiday party pic that shows "Anthem VR" in the corner. Is it possible that EA and BioWare are planning a virtual reality mode for the upcoming Destiny-like game? *Consider this the obligatory "this is a rumor" warning.

The photo was released on Watamaniuk's personal Twitter account and an eagle-eyed Reddit user named DolphinTeethXXL plucked the booth name out of the corner. Of course the caveat in all this is that the party seems themed around some type of interactive event and the letters look as if they're simply stapled onto an office divider -- hardly the type of quality that we'd expect to see if members of the BioWare crew were actually testing a work-in-progress. Perhaps it's simply a teaser for what's to come.

However, another Reddit user said that he'd been able to play the VR version at the booth, though it remains to be seen if that's a legitimate claim.
