Huge Update Brings the Dark Arts, Player Shops & More

Shards Online has been updated with a massive patch that brings new features and skills, a revamped new player experience, tameable creatures and a boatload of quality of life improvements into the game. Alpha supporters are encouraged to check back in with trial codes ready to be reactivated beginning Thursday, July 14th.

Here's what you can expect to find:

• The Catacombs - lower levels and the final boss have been added
• Player run shops through the use of merchant hirelings
• Expanded crafting resources for  creating advanced weapons and armor
• Necromancy abilities for direct damage and summoned minions
• Tameable pets including a Young Dragon
• Improved new player experience
• A new player guild
• UI improvements and functionality
• Better character movement and collision
