Hoyoverse is expanding even more beyond just Genshin Impact, revealing its new action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, as well as a new trailer for its upcoming sci-fi title, Honkai: Star Rail during today's Summer Game Fest 2022.
Alliteration first, Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming brand-new IP from Hoyoverse with what the studio describes as an "urban fantasy theme and fast-paced action gameplay."
Via the press release:
" In the story setting, contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the Hollows. The last urban civilization –New Eridu –survived the apocalypse and managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. Players will take the role of a Proxy, and join with a group of partners to conquer unknown enemies and further unravel the mysteries of New Eridu."
The trailer showcases some of the characters, enemies, as well as the fast and fluid combat of ZZZ.
Honkai: Star Rail is an entry in Hoyoverse's Honkai series, bringing players on an interstellar journey. The new Honkai: Star Rail also shows off some of the characters and combat features coming to a global audience "in the near future." Star Rail will feature puzzle-solving, exploration and turn-based combat the Honkai franchise is known for.
