Hot Times to be Had During Summer Solstice

Rift players have a lot to look forward to with the arrival of summer. Between in-game events and the arrival of the much-vaunted multicore support, there is a lot at hand in July.

There will be some big improvements coming for guilds with new players automatically being placed in "starter guilds" that are locked at level 5. Players will also be able to create guilds as a single player without the need for multiple signatures.

Players completing a dungeon five times will become a "veteran" of that dungeon and will earn a 15% bonus to currency, reputation, tokens and experience every time they run that same dungeon with a non-veteran.

Summerfest will also be making a return that gives players a chance to grab artifact pinatas and Asbeth's Raiment.

Lastly, several classic souls will be going under the development knife to get new buffs, abilities, and synergies. The Elementalist, Druid, Berserker and Warlord will be the first.
