A Blink in Time, Marvel Snap’s latest season update, is now live. The May season focuses on Blink and the Exiles, a reality-hopping group of misfit mutants with a variety of different powers.
Blink is this month’s Season Pass card and she looks to be quite interesting. A 5 cost card with 7 power, Blink has the On Reveal ability “Swap the last card you played with a higher-Cost card from your deck.” The possibilities here are exciting. Can we swap out a Hobgoblin played on turn 5 with a Destroyer on turn 6 to destroy the enemy’s board? I’m definitely going to try and find out.
New season characters include Nocturne, Sage, Namora, and Sasquatch. Of the group, Sage and Sasquatch look to be the most practical. Sage is a 3/0 that gains +2 Power for each card of a different Power. Sasquatch is a 6/10 that costs one less for each card played last turn. He can easily end up as a 3 or 4 cost card, generating immense value.
There are a number of new locations this season, too. Panoptichron gives cards that didn’t start in the player’s deck +2 Power and Cancun, a popular vacation destination most should be familiar with, amusingly doesn’t allow Power at its location to count towards winning the game.
