The upcoming heist co-op game from Sumo Digital, Hood: Outlaws and Legends, recently unveiled a new gameplay trailer, this one honing in on the Ranger class.

Inspired by the legendary tale of Robin Hood himself, the Ranger is a ranged combatant in Hood's PvEvP gameplay, dealing death from afar with devastating bow attacks. The Ranger can also play as a scout for your team, tagging enemies to make them visible for the rest of the team. Rangers can also give your team an advantage by firing rope arrows to help teammates scale large walls and gates.

Rangers also can attack with incendiary arrows - a sticky, explosive arrow that will see it devastate the area around the target. However, the Ranger does have some disadvantages, being unable to actually block incoming melee attacks from enemies. Instead Hood's Ranger will have to make use of its evasion to keep a melee enemy at bay.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, the Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles, and PC on May 7th.
