Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5, “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue”, is now live, bringing more to discover on the Xianzhou Luofu, new playable characters, events, and the introduction of the Wardance ceremony.
The new storyline continues with the aftermath of the Shackling Prison outbreak, with General Feixiao leading the efforts to capture the escaped prisoners, and the Cloud Knights on hand. Investigation is ongoing and several generals oversee investigations while there's an ongoing effort to capture the escaped prisoners.
General Feixiao becomes your next potential recruitable five star character. She’s known for her martial arts prowess. Every few attacks, she accumulates “Flying Aureus”and benefits not just from her own strikes, but from those of her allies. Her Ultimate consumes the Flying Aureus charge And unleashes his powerful attacks on enemies using her gunblades or battle axe. When enemies are hit, their toughness is reduced and it bypasses their weakness type, making Feixiao a formidable enemy.
Keep that in mind, because the Echo of War: Inner Beast's Battlefield trial will have you face a shadow of Feixiao and the apparition of Flying Aureus - Ecliptic Inner Beast.
A second five-star character also joins in the update. Lingsha is one of the allies on the Xianzhou. She uses incense and in battle, she uses her abilities to summon an incense Beast that she created, Fuyuan. This beast helps in combat and Lingsha can extend its duration on the field via her skills. Fuyan will attack and deal damage to all enemies, even removing a debuff from allies and restoring some of their HP. Her Ultimate damages all enemies, inflicts Befog, causing Break damage, and heals all allies.
Moze is a four-star playable character in the update. He's stealthy and he's able to mark a single enemy as prey, making that enemy take more damage from Moze and all allies. His Ultimate is Of an offensive nature, unleashing a damage on enemies and a follow-up attack.
The Wardance is here in the update, with participants like Luka there for a visit. Participate in related activities and you can earn yourself a brand new pet, the Tuskpir.
Honkai: Star Rail will also hold special events to mark 2.5’s release.
