Hoyoverse’s upcoming space fantasy RPG Honkai: Star Rail is now taking pre-registrations ahead of an expected release date announcement to come. For now, though, the final closed beta is beginning, and there’s a new trailer for the character of Bailu.
As a space fantasy, you’ll journey through various mysterious worlds and explore, solve puzzles, and experience all-new story. According to a release, that exploration will feature some variety and mystery. “Explore Jarilo-VI and Xianzhou Luofu. Jarilo-VI has innumerable mysteries and dangers frozen beneath its snow caps awaiting further investigation; Xianzhou Luofu, the silkpunk flagship where inhabitants seem to have achieved immortality, foreshadows the upcoming expedition infused with eastern fantasy where the Trailblazer drills down to the coreof [Stellaron] due to serendipity!”
Bailu is introduced in a new trailer, “In Torrid Heat” and she is listed as “Alchemy Commission Healer Lady”, giving an idea of what to expect from her. She makes a splash, from the actual cooling water of her abilities to her aquatic tail.
The multiplatform game will see a release on PC, iOS, Android, and Hoyoverse has just confirmed release via the Epic Games Store. There will be cross-play and cross-save across platforms.
For those who pre-register, there are a number of pre-registration rewards that will be earned depending on the number of pre-registrants they get. Already met are the 500k and 1 million registration goals. These will award 50,000 in credits and 3x Star Rail Pass. Those are just the first goals that lead to rewards when Honkai: Star Rail launches. Some of the other rewards are an avatar, the 4-star character Serval, and Star Rail Pass x15.
There's also a goal to get all of the game's social media accounts to a total of over 2.5 million combined users. If this happens, then those who pre-register will get 50,000 more credits and additional rail passes.
