Developer Glyph Worlds is bringing their history-based RTS game War Selection to Steam Early Access this October. The 90s inspired real time strategy will pit players in battles with as many as 62 players against each other for supremacy.

War Selection brings the old-school style of RTS games back to PC, as players will navigate their civilization from the Stone Age all the way through to the modern industrial ages. Along the way, players will choose between different cultures to branch their civilizations from, such as European or Asian cultures. Each culture will confer bonuses and disadvantages to the player, offering multiple avenues and gameplay styles for each civilization to flourish.

War Selection will also offer its own Battle Roayle mode.

Single and multiplayer modes add variety to gameplay, especially the Battle Royale mode. A massive 62 players will be supported, with the smallest empires being automatically knocked out of the game as time progresses, forcing constant conflict as the pressure to expand continues to build.

You can check out War Selection on Steam right now as it preps for its launch. You can also check out the announcement trailer below.
