After much anticipation and a very successful launch year, the first major content expansion for ARPG Last Epoch arrives tomorrow—and here’s when you can dive back in, according to the devs.
At the time of writing, the servers are down, as planned maintenance began at 11:00 a.m. CDT (9:00 a.m. PDT). The maintenance will last 24 hours, but in this time, offline play will still be available, if you want to keep your fingers warm and wits sharp.
Twitch drops for creators start at 5:00 p.m. PDT, if anyone wishes to stream and watch streams, though of course, those won’t go live until maintenance ends.
Last Epoch’s maintenance is planned to end at the same time on April 17, at 11:00 a.m. CDT (9:00 a.m. PDT). At the same time, supporter packs for the new seasons will be buyable on the store, and the Twitch drops should go live.
Eleventh Hour explains that while the team is confident in the update, the staff will be standing by in case anything goes sideways, as often happens in even the greatest of games. Hopefully they got some more preparations in the extra week or two caused by its delay, which the team explains was necessary as not to clash with another competitor.
In the meantime, it’s a good time to recap what’s coming in Tombs of the Erased, including but not limited to:
- A rework of Sentinel, and a new Heartseeker skill
- Nifty graphics update for the Monolith Hub and beyond
- Major quality of life updates, including Mastery respecs
And the team has also shared a Patch Overview video, a 20-minute recap of what’s coming once the game’s back up.
