In case you missed it, Blizzard published Chains of Domination PTR notes for World of Warcraft’s upcoming expansion. These notes are pretty extensive and cover off classes, Covenants, PvP, and much, much more.

Chains of Domination was in the news recently when World of Warcraft's Game Director Ion Hazzikostas discussed the release timing for Burning Crusade and Chains of Domination in an interview with Douyo streamer LingHunFuSu. But don’t expect the releases for these two to overlap,

“Well obviously we will have more information to announce about specific release dates for Burning Crusade Classic and for Chains of Domination. I can tell you that it's very unlikely that we're going to release both of those right at the same time, we know there are many players who would like to experience both."

However, we do have patch notes for the Chains of Domination PTR to read through, so at least there’s that. The patch notes are expectedly dense, touching on virtually everything. Various classes received their own rounds of tweaks like the Death Knight, Hunter, Priest, Warlock, and Warrior.

Professions were also touched on including new recipes for enchanting, alchemy, inscription, jewelcrafting, tailoring, cooking, and leatherworking. PvP saw several changes for classes including Demon Hunter, Druid, Paladin, and Warrior.

Torghast received its own round of notes as well. The Maw saw the following:

  • New Zone: Korthia
    • Visitor Dailies
      • New Visitor dailies added in the April 29 update.
  • New: Maw Assaults
    • New Maw Assaults added in April 29 update.
  • New: Tormentors of Torghast
    • New Tormentors added in the April 29 update.
  • New treasures to discover in Korthia and Desmotaeron.

You can read the full patch notes here. And if you missed it, check out a recent interview with Hazzikostas in which he discussed Legendaries in Patch 9.1.
