Character customization options are coming to World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands when the expansion drops on October 27. Here’s what’s changing.

First off, the character customization screen has been totally remade. New options for players include new skin tones, hairstyles, and eye colors. Additionally, a few races can enhance their appearance with tattoos, jewelry, beards, scars, or flowers for hair.

Of course, when you’re done, you’ll need to pick a name. You can now immediately see if your selected name is actually available as soon as you type it in. additionally, Blizzard notes that a lot of customization options are now no longer dependent on other options as they were previously. Worgen also can change the appearance of human and worgen form independently.

Any barber can change your hair and gender. If you’re a druid, you can change your Shapeshift appearance at barbers as well. These barber changes will be available in the Shadowlands pre-patch. If you missed the details on that pre-patch, we covered that off here.
