Rockstar’s Cayo Perico Heist launched last month for GTA Online. Recently, the developer shared some tricks and tips which should help you along the way.
If you’ve actually played the heist, you’ll know it’s quite extensive. There are significant details you can scout as you organize yourself or your crew to prepare for the big event. Rockstar covers off several of these phases from scoping, heist prep, and the heist finale.
They also touch on the Kosatka submarine required for the heist, the actual beach party taking part on the island, the music locker, DJ request missions, and hidden caches. Scoping for the heist a huge part of preparation as there are multiple ways in which to enter the target compound. Additionally, the island itself plays host to several storage lockups which you can rob.
The heist finale is quite dense as Rockstar notes several tips you can use to maximize your total heist haul. Obviously, using items like recon drones will bear fruit. But be sure to be on the lookout for any keys dropped by guards which may lead to additional stashes.
