A big revamp to Hearthstone’s Battlegrounds hits today. Here are the details you need to know.
This update brings about a ajor minion shakeup. 37 minions are being replaced by new ones. So say goodbye and then hello as two new heroes are being added in Master Nguyen and Cariel Roame. Also, Avenge is the new keyword. It basically, “does something after X friendly minions die.”
More over, to give everyone time to get used to new content and updates, turn timers have temporarily been increased. This means the length of turns 3-9 have been increased by 5 seconds. Additionally, the length of turns will be reduced later on.
Darkmoon Prizes have been disabled, while a damage cap of 15 damage added. No one can take more than 15 damage from combat while alive. On this point, do note the damage cap does not check for player deaths until the start of each Recruit Phase. This means if someone concedes, disconnects, or dies during the Recruit Phase, the damage cap will still be present for that combat.
