It’s time to go back to Ulduar in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, as the latest update, Secrets of Ulduar, went live this week. This next phase of content in World of Warcraft Classic brings dungeon and raid emblem changes, new vendors, a new Arena season, and of course, the Ulduar raid.
Arena Season 6 is now in effect, with rewards like the Furious Gladiator title and Furious Gladiator’s Frost Wyrm mount. Also changed is that all previous Arena season gear, including season 5 gear, is now obtainable from Arena and Honor vendors. When it comes to dungeons and raids, the Emblem of Conquest is now dropping and Emblems of Valor drop from Heroic dungeon bosses.
All of these went live earlier this week, but now it’s time to head back into Ulduar to take on the raid and its bosses inside. Created by the Titans and intended to imprison a great threat to Azeroth, it’s your turn to uncover its mysteries. And face the danger, of course. If it's your first time through, well then you have plenty to discover. As the official description says, “Beyond Ulduar's gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titan's mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merely... contained”.
If you've hit Level 80, this is now open for you to take your shot at. You’ll have to face an assortment of 16 bosses, so be sure to have geared up well.
With the announcement of the Secrets of Ulduar update and the raid going live yesterday, keep in mind that Vault of Archavon will get a new boss in the east wing on Monday, January 23rd. Emalon the Storm Watcher is going to spend some time there to face those who come seeking potential select Ulduar Raid Set items and other items at different difficulties.
