Square Enix has revealed that the next-gen version of Marvel's Avengers will hit the PS5 and Xbox Series of consoles on March 18th, right alongside the addition of the latest Avenger to come to the game, Hawkeye.
The next-gen versions will allow existing players on last-gen consoles to transfer their profile and save data and pick right up where they left off on the new versions. Marvel's Avengers on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will run at "up to 4K resolution", while the Xbox Series S will target 1440p. The next-gen versions will also feature higher framerates than the current versions, as well as faster loading times thanks to the system's SSD.

Hawkeye will also be coming to Avengers on March 18th, bringing a new Operation to the game. Hawkeye - Future Imperfect will pick right up where Kate Bishop's Operation left off, continuing the story in Marvel's Avengers as Clint Barton hunts for S.H.I.E.L.D. Leader Nick Fury, eventually combating Maestro, a twisted version of Hulk with all the brains of Bruce Banner and the raw strength of the Hulk.
