Regardless of the culture of origin, seemingly all online games this year are holding some kind of Halloween event. Strategy game Forge of Empires is bringing back popular spook Jack O'Lantern. Korean company Webzen is also getting into the act with Halloween events for its games, Continent of the 9th Seal, Archlord 2, and MU Online

Kicking things off, between October 22 and November 5, Forge of Empires is giving players the chance to perform special tasks for seasonal creepy dude Jack O'Lantern that require answering a series of riddles. What do you get for answering these riddles aright? To find out, check out the following video.

Next up, Webzen's C9 is hosting a Halloween Mix 'n Match. That means from October 21 to November 11, you can toss any of your old, tired gear into a witch's cauldron and see what comes out. The Witches of Glenheim have apparently devised a special coin that can transform old and busted into some new hotness. For full details, visit the C9 Halloween Mix 'n Match page.

Not to be outdone, from October 21 to November 11,  Archlord 2 is sending players mysterious pumpkin seeds in their in-game mail. Collect seven and you get a special pumpkin hat (comes in three colors!) You can also collect Halloween cookies and exchange them for a special treat. Or would that be a trick? Hrm...

For more details about the event, check out the Archlord 2 forums.

Finally, MU Online is celebrating All Hallow's October 28 to November 11 with The Lord of the Halloween: The Return of Jack-O-Lantern. Players brave enough to hunt ol' Jack and his Fire Flame Ghost sidekick will get special pumpkins that contain a scroll, sustenance, and a rare transformation ring that turns them into massive pumpkins. (Oh, and defeating the Fire Flame Ghost grants things like Jewels, Zen and Excellent Grade items.)

To learn more about MU Online, visit the game's official website.
