Halloween Events: Darkfall, ArcheAge and Kings and Legends

The final countdown to the All Hallow's Eve is on and online game makers are celebrating with a host of seasonal events. Darkfall Unholy Wars is adding new Halloween Feats and special candy-dropping monsters, while ArcheAge and Kings and Legends are opting for new costumes, decor and a new Pumpkin Lord card, respectively.

Starting October 30 and lasting for five days, Darkfall Unholy Wars will be featuring special "squashed" monsters whose appearances will change daily and who drop candy when taken down. More special treats (and prowess) can be earned by completing five special Halloween feats. Most importantly, from October 24 to October 29, all subscriptions are being offered at 50% off.

ArcheAge's Hallowtide Festival begins October 21 and lasts until November and during that time, players will enjoy special buffs given by the seasonal decorations in the cities of Austera and Ezna. They'll also earn Hallowtide Goodie Bags by completing daily quests. Finally, special Hallowtide cosmetic items are coming to the Marketplace.

Trading card game Kings and Legends gets into the spirits (bwah!) October 28 to November 1 with its race to attain the special Epic Pumpkin Lord card.
