The Guild Wars 2 team’s latest balance update is here, and features some changes made after the patch notes were released to the community late last month.

The update is intended to help tame overpowered WvW survivability and includes changes to things like boons, effect durations, and attempts to balance those changes. Guardian, Mesmer, Ranger, Revenant, and Warrior are the professions getting amended updates.

Dragonhunter will get a slight damage bump and damage modifier for Pure of Sight and Heavy Light. Mesmer changes include Stretched Time no longer giving Flow of Time to nearby allies, but instead causes shattering to apply a boon to other nearby allies and the trade also applies might instead of alacrity. These changes affect WvW only.

Untamed for Ranger now only strikes a target once with Lead the Wind. Renegades have a damage boost up to 15% in PvE on All for One. Warrior also has just one amended change, Daring Dagon will apply might and fury in WvW and no more alacrity.

This week's update also makes a couple of other notable changes, including updates to lounge passes. Jade bot merchants, workbenches, charging stations, defensive protocols, and offensive protocols have all been added to lounge passes. The defensive and offensive protocols will continue to  be limited to their intended modes.

The mysterious gate in the Thousand Seas Pavilion now gets fishing teleport locations to spots in the Horn of Maguuma and in Janthir locations if you have the associated expansions on your account.

The list adjustments, including amended changes is available alongside the original proposed balance changes.
