Guild Wars 2 kicked off its Festival of the Four Winds event today, bringing activities to players new and old from now through August 8th.

The yearly festival kicks off in two locations within Guild Wars 2: Labyrinthine Cliffs and the Crown Pavilion. Guild Wars 2 players can look forward to an exciting adventure at the Labyrinthine Cliffs, from a treasure hunt along the Tyrian coast, participate in a race, collect sky crystals, and much more.

At the Crown Pavilion, you can take on the "greatest enemies of Kryta" in the Boss Blitz event, as well as partake in a knightly duel against other players - all to earn the various festival tokens used to gain rewards such as Heavy Crafting Bags and more.

"If you decide to head to the Crown Pavilion, you will discover many other activities! Join other players in defeating the greatest enemies of Kryta in the Boss Blitz event. But worry not; these are not real beings. They are merely Queen Jennah’s watchknight soldiers.

Face off against the strongest individuals in Tyria. Talk to one of the fight managers to join the queue, and you will be transported to a one-versus-one arena—the Queen’s Gauntlet! Cheer on your friends, or show off your skills to the world."

The Festival of the Four Winds takes place from now through August 8th. You can learn more on the Guild Wars 2 website. Players can look forward to the next expansion from the Guild Wars 2 team, Secrets of the Obscurein August
