Guild Wars 2's 5v5 PvP Mode Push Gets a New Beta Test, and Roller Beetle Racing Returns With a New Course

Guild Wars 2 is holding another beta test for its 5v5 PvP mode, Push. They’re also holding the Roller Beetle Racing event on a new course.

Roller Beetle Racing is on now through May 20th. Head over to Southsun Cove and find Sareb to get started and check out the brand new course. You can also race across any of the existing returning tracks too. For those who want to race in a new cute way, there’s a new skin in the Gem Store, the Panda Roller Beetle skin.

As for the PVP Push beta, the test will run from May 20th through 27th. If you need a reminder, Push is an intentionally simple, fast competitive move that will feature a 5v5 match with two teams trying to push an object into the enemy base. That’s it. The team intentionally wanted to offer something very easy to get into for a wide variety of players and with fewer objectives than something like Conquest. 

This round will feature an improved fresh map and many changes that ANet has made following the Push beta test back in September. In addition to map improvements, they’ve been building and adding all sorts of new art assets (though they warn that some placeholders still remain).
