Guild Wars 2  is celebrating the Super Adventure Festival  with the arrival of the latest update. Enjoy the returning event with new items and skins to collect, and a mysterious Test Zone to play in.

It’s time to celebrate in Rata Sum from now through April 18th. The returning festival is open to all levels, so even if you just joined today, you'll still be able to take part and earn yourself some colorful goodies. available activities once you get to the Super Adventure Box hub.

There, you can enter the box. When you're in there, you'll have a different skill set than you're used to. You won't take fall damage and you also won't be able to use any mounts or gliders but your movement will be noticeably different. In a fun way. If you've never taken part in the festival, this is definitely something new that shouldn't be missed.

There are several game modes–Normal, Exploration, and Tribulation–along with two worlds to make your way through. These modes shape what kind of content you’ll get to play in, and the clues are in the names.

Taking inspiration from classic gaming, you'll have hearts that show your health and when you lose hearts, you'll lose a life. When you lose a life you will revive at a checkpoint, but if you run out of lives, you can buy a continue coin.

The Super Adventure Box achievement  is up for grabs this year, along with weapon skins. There are new items too,  like a mace, rifle, and dagger, and a Mini Adventure Boxer miniature. You’ll get to exchange festival currency for goodies when you’re ready.

This year, there’s even another experience to try out, the Test Zone. There’s only some detail on this new addition:

“This year, Moto is inviting heroes to the Test Zone,* a new area he’s working on! The choya miners are still carving it out, so it’s not completely finished—but Moto will welcome your help testing the area that is available!”
