The conclusion of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, The Midnight King, is set to launch later this month on May 21st.
The upcoming conclusion to 2023's Secrets of the Obscure expansion brings the closing bits of the story to the expansion, as well as new content and events for players. This new update follows February's The Realm of Dreams update to Secrets of the Obscure, which brought legendary armor (which can be upgraded with the upcoming update), as well as the new zone, Inner Nayos.
Speaking of Inner Nayos, a new world meta event is taking place there for players to tackle, in addition to the story content closing things out for the last expansion.
Guild Wars 2 players will also be getting a new Fractal of the Mist in the form of The Lonely Tower, as well as a new boss in Convergences to tackle. Interestingly, the upcoming The Midnight King update will also bring the ability for players to change the color of their aiming reticle while using the action camera, as well as its shape, customizing the UI to fit the needs of the individual player.
Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure's The Midnight King hits the MMO on May 21st, and you can check out the announcement trailer in the embed below.
