ArenaNet have been listening to player feedback and will implement an update to Guild Wars 2 on Tuesday, August 11 addressing the Drizzlewood Coast Meta.
After this update,
“…the chests that spawn throughout the map at the end of the meta will all be relocated to Claw's Roost. Now you can reap all the same rewards in one convenient location rather than searching the map!”
Reception of this news has been mostly positive judging the comments on the forum. However, some folks are hoping for more,
“I'm glad to see this fix and hope this will help a lot. But I'm afraid it's not enough. The double meta is a big problem, the whole south meta is too short and fast, you have no time to do the events in the south, because once you are finished with escort east, you have to run to west to do escort there.
IMHO the only solution is making 2 meta's and 2 maps. Have more time for the north meta so it's not a rush rush rush, and give south the time to breath and people can choose which one they want to do.”
