ExileCon 2023 is right around the corner, and Path of Exile developer Grinding Gear Games is setting the stage for its major event. For those unable to attend in person, GGG doesn't want you left out, and the team has announced the Twitch Drops you can earn from watching the show.

We're expecting to see more about the future of Path of Exile when the New Zealand-based Grinding Gear Games takes the stage on the 29th of July New Zealand time (so July 28th here in the States). We already know we'll see the next major update for Path of Exile proper, the 3.22 Expansion, as well as news and more about the upcoming sequel, Path of Exile 2. Path of Exile Mobile should also make an appearance during the event.

For those of us who will be watching from the comfort of our own homes, though, Grinding Gear Games has enabled Twitch Drops for the event. By watching any channel streaming ExileCon (assuming they have Drops enabled), you can earn the Raven Demon Wings cosmetic as well as the Heartseeker Portal.

"To receive the Raven Demon Wings, you will need to watch any channel streaming ExileCon for at least one hour between Jul 28, 2023 3:00 PM (PDT) and Jul 28, 2023 4:30 PM (PDT). (this is displayed in your local time)To receive the Heartseeker Portal you will need to accumulate four hours watch time on any ExileCon stream over the weekend, ending at Jul 29, 2023 10:00 PM (PDT) (this is displayed in your local time)"

You'll need to have your Twitch account linked with your Path of Exile account in order to earn the drops, of course, but once you have redeem them from your Twitch inventory to receive the items in-game.

Path of Exile 2 is also slated to be at Gamescom and PAX West this year (which you can win tickets to in our PAX West 2023 giveaway!), and we're looking forward to seeing how the sequel is shaping up since our hands-on look during ExileCon 2019. We also went hands on with Path of Exile Mobile during that event, and came away pretty impressed. It'll be interesting to see how it too has evolved from its early demo phase as well.
