Gray Zone Warfare developers, MADFINGER Games, a.s., have shared that they have reached over 400,000 sales within just 48 hours of their early access launch.
Gray Zone Warfare is the latest realistic military open-world survival game to hit Steam, and in a mere 48 hours, the game bagged over 400k sales. While this is a monumental feat to reach, some players experience several server crashing issues early on, leading to some bad reviews and a few angry customers.
400k Copies of #GZW Sold ????We're speechless! In just day 2 of Early Access, we've welcomed 400,000 PMCs to Lamang Island.Your support is beyond incredible. Thank you, everyone! Let's keep pushing forward together, and always remember, #EveryMoveMatters.#GrayZoneWarfare pic.twitter.com/eFpezysySb

Luckily, with the announcement of the vast number of sales, the developers also posted the details on the hotfixes, which included “Several GPU-related Crashes” being fixed. There was also an option added to wipe a character from the main menu, allowing players to go back through the character creation process and choose a faction. Once created, players will receive edition rewards once again, but only characters older than one hour old will have the option to be wiped completely.
This new option was added due to friends choosing different factions and not having the ability to go back and swap factions in order to team up together to take down enemies. Several people in the comments called this a major win, while others focused on the fact that even after these fixes, their helms and even their pants seemingly vanished after the update.
While there are quite a few issues and bugs with Gray Zone Warfare, it does seem to bring a change that Escape from Tarkov players have been asking for. Hopefully, the devs at MADFINGER Games take the player's complaints into account once again and attempt to fix the issues at hand.
