Gravity’s reimagining of Midgard, the cross-platform Ragnarok Begins, is now available globally on mobile and PC.
The game is a side-scrolling MMORPG and it is set one hundred years in the past, taking you to midgard in the age of a historical feud between the worshipers of Odin and on the other side, the worshippers of Freya. There is chaos and struggle in light of all of this and the Pope of Arunfeltz has recently disappeared. So of course, it will be your job to investigate the mystery, try and find out what happened to the pope, and secrets of midgard itself.
Since the world is beset by lots of conflict, if you are a fan of Ragnarok online or the franchise that has been running for 20 years, this time you'll find familiar elements like action combat, customizable gear, clear housing, missions and quests for the story content, as well as World bosses on the server, ranked PVP, and even the classic Endless Tower.
There are a number of ways to play different versions of Gravity’s signature IP, and in recent years, mobile offerings have increased. This time, the action is on PC too from the start. The 2.5D side-scrolling nature of the game still holds the story and action content Ragnarok is known for, both in PvE and PvP.
There will be ranked PvP in Valhalla, where you can choose to take on others to see who is the best. For PvE, there are world bosses, items and resources to collect and use, gear and other content, housing, and more.
Global launch is now live, and those who pre-registered can collect their rewards once they have created their first character. Players in the US and Canada have the option of playing the game on mobile or PC, while everyone can play on PC.
