Rockstar Games have released a mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition on iOS, Android, and Netflix. Yes, Netflix.

The GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition includes remasters of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and did not impress when they originally launched on consoles and PC in 2021. The games were riddled with bugs, performance and graphical issues. Rockstar also made some questionable decisions when it came to its attempt to visually upgrading the game, earning fairly universal derision for the final result.

In an odd twist, it appears the mobile version of the remasters appear to have addressed many of the complaints, with Rockstar adding new graphics options and other tweaks to the mobile ports that have left fans impressed with the results:

You can pick up Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition for $20 on iOS and Android or for free with your Netflix subscription.

Timing on these releases should be helpful for those needing to scratch their GTA itch after Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI won’t arrive until sometime in 2025. The announcement trailer racked up nearly 100M views in 24 hours, setting a YouTube record for a non-music video debut on the platform.
