Grand Theft Auto Online has its latest major story update with Los Santos Drug Wars. The new update is live now, beginning a new, multi-part story, with new missions, new vehicles, new job types, clothing and tattoos, and experience improvements.
You’ll join Dax and the Fooliganz to sell some drugs out of the new vehicle type, the Acid Lab. This vehicle is in the rear of an MTL Brickade 6x6, so it’s a heavy vehicle. If you complete all the missions in First Dose, the opening chapter of what will be a multi-part story, you also have access to a Maibatsu Manchez Scout C, which will help you start this mobile business of yours.
To keep things growing, you’ll get your base of operations started. Called The Freakshop, it's under the highway, and features a weapon workshop and the equipment to modify both the MTL Brickade and the motorcycle.
You’ll also get the chance to take on six new missions in total to help the Fooliganz to build up the business and of course, stave off rivals. The title of the update is Los Santos Drug Wars, after all. So you get the idea about what it's all about. There are also five new vehicles in the update, new clothing and tattoos, and more.
In addition to the story content, the new vehicles, and other additions, there are some improvements to the player experience, like some increased payouts, the ability to take on Agatha’s Casino story missions solo, and launching Business Sell missions from the Benefactor Terrorbyte in all session types.
In the coming weeks and months, Rockstar will continue adding more to this storyline, including even more vehicles, some works events, gameplay updates, events, and new encounters. They’re also promising a new garage to come.
