The first closed beta testers have been invited to try out the upcoming GoG Galaxy 2.0 update. Galaxy 2.0 is bringing a wide array of changes to the launcher including the ability for users to import multiple game libraries and friends lists into the platform. Players will be able to see all of their games and friends regardless of whether on PC or console and Galaxy 2.0 can be used to launch any PC game.

- hours played tracking
- filtering, sorting, tagging games list items
- client personalization
- the ability to view friends stats via an activity feed
- cross-platform chat
- friends list leaderboards
- cloud saves across all devices
- games discovery
