The third-person shooter mashed with a MOBA action game GIGANTIC: Rampage Edition is now live on several platforms after the original game was taken down years ago.

GIGANTIC initially had positive reviews, but the developers felt as though the game did not take off as they had once hoped, causing them to remove it from all platforms five years ago. Today, the developers at Arc Games and Abstraction Games have announced that a new and updated version of the game has been released across PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms once again.

With 25 playable heroes and team-based multiplayer gameplay that MOBA fans know and love, players can band together to take down the opposing team's Guardian. This is comparable to the Nexus that players attempt to take down to defeat their enemies in a League of Legends match.

The devs also released a gameplay trailer to give fans a taste of the new and improved action, which showcases several of the Heroes, different skills and abilities for each Hero to utilize, and a peek at the maps available within the game.

The original game was free-to-play, but this time around, the team decided that it would be a paid game instead, currently costing $15.99 on Steam during their sale, but will eventually go back to the price of $19.99. Gigantic now features crossplay on across all platforms, a brand new ranked system for players to reach their goals, and more content that the original developers did not get the time to add into the game.

With time, we will see whether or not this new edition will live up to the developer's standards once again.
